One of the key challenges related to renovating the Polish building stock lies in improving the financial aspects: in particular to identify what can be done to improve the existing landscape for financing building renovation, as well as share best practice cases which can be adapted to the national context, and increase the propensity of building owners and investors to renovate. Although a large variety of financing mechanisms exist and a lot of funding will be available until 2020, not all measures seem to be effective. Leading experts and representatives from BASF, IEE and other organisations will present and discuss methods supporting this process in Poland during this workshop.
