The report Financing building energy performance improvement in Poland analysed the energy performance of the Polish building stock and the characteristics of the renovation market, concluding with a series of policy recommendations to achieve deep renovations. Following the launch of the report and the success of the first workshop held last January, BPIE is planning another event in Warsaw on June 8 to dive deeper into the topics of financing and technical requirements for building renovation in the country.
Leading experts and representatives from BPIE, IEE and other organisations will present and discuss methods supporting this process in Poland. The workshop, moderated by Andrzej Kassenberg from the Institute for Sustainable Development, will also include best practice cases which can be adapted to the national context, and increase the propensity of building owners and investors to renovate.
