The Annual General Assembly Meeting of Association of Rhodope Municipalities (ARM) was held on 25 March 2016 in the town of Smolyan, Bulgaria. This was the first meeting after the local elections of 2015 and thus the opportunity for the newly elected mayors to join and discuss on the future activities of ARM. CITYnvest made an intervention during this event to present the opportunities that the project offers to local authorities in terms of financing of energy efficiency projects and to take them on board for further CITYnvest activities. The participants expressed a positive attitude towards the project, and it was regarded as beneficial and necessary, provided that all legal issues related to the Bulgarian context are cleared.
